The Düsseldorf International Airport is the third largest airport in Germany, after Frankfurt and Munich, and has become during the last years an important hub for intercontinental flights to North America and Asia.
You will be glad to read that the Düsseldorf International Airport is just 10 km away from its centre and reaching it won’t take you much time. The SkyTrain, a fully automatic overhead tram, will take you from your terminal to the Düsseldorf Airport station where you can take more than 350 trains of all categories, from local trains to ICE, which makes the airport a perfect starting point for your further journey to the other cities of the Rhein-Ruhr region - the largest urban area in Germany and among the largest metropolitan areas of the world.
If you decide to take a taxi the ride will cost you some 11 € to the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition grounds and approximately 16 € to the city centre or the Central Station.

There are also several car rental services and the airport is right next to the highway A44 which will connect you with other highways.
