The Polish Institute Dusseldorf and the VHS are organising a soirée of poetry by Zbigniew Herbert and oeuvres by Chopin, Dvorak and Schubert.

The Berlin composer Carl Friedrich Zelter was a good friend of the famous German author Johann Wolfgang Goethe. For Zelter's 250 anniversairy his life and works will be potrayed in the exhibition.

During their European Indoor Tour 2008/09 Afrika! Afrika! will be in Dusseldorf on 20 and 21 December 2008. The famous circus show by Vienna artist André Heller unites artistic performances, dance, music and song with the spirit of Africa.
