Creative Arts Group is a non-profit organization as well as generous association. Its main purpose is to support music, dance and theatre projects especially for young people in the Düsseldorf region. In spite of its religious roots the Creative Arts Group e.V. is most definitely non-denominational and welcomes all those wanting to participate, irrespective of religious beliefs or background.
Creative Arts evolved from an idea which 12 people had in 2007 while they were participating in a musical in a small English speaking church in Düsseldorf. This first musical planted the seeds for a second musical and it became clear that many people could enjoy themselves through music and dance. Music and dance are international languages and that is what the group live and strive for!
After three years they are proud to say that almost 200 people have been involved in their productions. Highlighting the many success stories, one former cast member is taking her CAG experiences into the West End in London. Enormous personal changes were able to be seen in both children and adults. The group believe that, especially in young people, impressions are hugely important and have a considerable influence on their later lives.
