Theatre
The oldest theatre in Düsseldorf, the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf was opened in 1905 and has its origins in a long tradition dating back to performances from the year 1585.
There are also eight other theatres in Düsseldorf and the list covers a wide range of genres: from the opera, to a musical theatre, from a marionette theatre to stand-up comedy.
