Heavenly, stately and courtly is the collection of the Prince Elector Jan Wellem which is, together with more than 2.000 loans from other museums, in the focus of the exhibition “Himmlisch-Herrlich-Höfisch” at the Museum Kunst Palast.
The whole exhibition is centred around Peter Paul Rubens’ “The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary” and all remaining art works stand in some connection to this theme.
